Product Labels

Product Labels allow for custom labels to be added on pre-defined or custom sets of products. They are created in Journal > Product Extras > Labels.

  1. Special/Sale

    1. Create module and choose Label Type > Special,
    2. Apply design options, including Product Label Style (created in Journal > Styles > Product Label).
  2. Out of Stock

    1. Create module and choose Label Type > Out of Stock, The text displayed is the default Opencart stock status created in Opencart > System > Localisation > Stock Statuses).
    2. Apply design options, including Product Label Style (created in Journal > Styles > Product Label).
  3. New/Latest

    1. Create module and choose Label Type > Custom,
    2. Type desired label text, such as "New",
    3. Choose Product Rules > Latest,
    4. Indicate Product Limit. The label will appear on the latest products added, up to the indicated limit,
    5. Apply design options, including Product Label Style (created in Journal > Styles > Product Label).
  4. Custom Label

    1. Create module and choose Type > Custom,
    2. Choose Product Rules > "Your Rule" such as Custom (for individual products) or Bestsellers, etc. For custom sets of products that match certain criteria choose Advanced and indicate the desired criteria. See Product Assignment for more info on how this concept works,
    3. Apply design options, including Product Label Style (created in Journal > Styles > Product Label).

To display a custom label on ALL products choose Label Type Custom and Product Rules All.
