Demo Edit

After importing one of the Journal demos, you can edit it from the admin panel or via the new Journal Editor available in Journal 3.2.

Each demo is built upon the principles from our Theme Workflow. We recommend you read that to understand how the underlying engine works, then proceed to edit the various variables, styles, modules, etc. from the imported demo.

Journal Editor​

Access your demo's admin panel and navigate to Journal > System > System > Journal Editor, to activate the storefront editor.

In the storefront, you can see the Journal Editor at the bottom of the screen.

Quick Edit​

There are also Quick Editbuttons over any editable module. With Journal Editor enabled, simply hover over any module in the storefront to see the Quick Edit button.

  1. Quick Edit buttons are available over any module when hovered over. A popup with that module is opened and can be edited in place.
  2. Journal Editor tray provides quick access to relevant admin sections.
